Terminal Learning Objectives:

 

For Hospital Director

 

At the end of the experiential learning sessions on PhilHealth Benchbook, the hospital director must be able to:

 

  1. Explain why the hospital should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  2. Lead all heads of services / units to achieve 100% compliance of PhilHealth Benchbook standards (as relevant to each service / unit).
  3. Lead all heads of services / units to coordinate and collaborate with each other to achieve 100% compliance to PhilHealth Benchbook standards (hospital-wide).

 

 

For Directorates / Division Heads

 

At the end of the experiential learning sessions on PhilHealth Benchbook, the directorates and division heads  must be able to:

 

  1. Explain why the hospital should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  2. Explain why the directorates / divisions should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  3. Lead all heads of services / units under their directorates / divisions to achieve 100% compliance of PhilHealth Benchbook standards (as relevant to the directorates / divisions and their services / units).
  4. Lead all heads of services / units under their directorates / divisions to coordinate and collaborate with each other and with those of other directorates / divisions to achieve 100% compliance to PhilHealth Benchbook standards (hospital-wide).

 

For Heads of Services / Units (including other line manager-leaders)

 

At the end of the experiential learning sessions on PhilHealth Benchbook, the participants must be able to:

 

  1. Explain why the hospital should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  2. Explain why the service / unit should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  3. Lead all personnel of service / unit to achieve 100% compliance of PhilHealth Benchbook standards (as relevant to the service / unit).
  4. Lead all personnel of service / unit to coordinate and collaborate with personnel of other services / units to achieve 100% compliance to PhilHealth Benchbook standards (hospital-wide).

 

For Personnel (Non-line-manager-leader) of Services / Units

 

At the end of the experiential learning sessions on PhilHealth Benchbook, the participants must be able to:

 

  1. Explain why the hospital should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  2. Explain why the service / unit should comply with the PhilHealth Benchbook standards.
  3. Coordinate and collaborate with other personnel of their service / unit to achieve 100% compliance of PhilHealth Benchbook standards (as relevant to the service / unit).
  4. Coordinate and collaborate with personnel of other services / units to achieve 100% compliance to PhilHealth Benchbook standards (hospital-wide).

 

 

Enabling Learning Objectives (for all intended participants):

(Guided by the Terminal Learning Objectives)

 

At the end of the experiential learning sessions on PhilHealth Benchbook, participants must be able to:

 

  1. Read and understand the PhilHealth Benchbook standards (official and most recent edition).
  2. Explain the importance of complying with the PhilHealth Benchbook from the perspective of the hospital as well as that of the service /unit.
  3. Identify which standards are relevant to their authorized function and job description in the hospital / services / units and come out with a checklist.
  4. Read and understand the compliance and auditing requirements of relevant standards to ensure 100% compliance during internal and external audits.
  5. Performance a self-assessment using a checklist of standards relevant to their authorized function  and job description in the hospital / services / units.
  6. Formulate a written plan on how to achieve 100% compliance of the PhilHealth Benchbook standards, inclusive of a plan for coordination and collaboration with other services / units to achieve compliance goals not only for the service / unit but also for the entire hospital.

 

Evaluation:

Based on evidences of accomplishment and achievement of learning objectives.

Results of external audit
