III. TRAINING STRONG AND WEAK POINTS    

       

 

STRENGTHS

  Speaker, Practicum.
  Dr. Joson is very knowledgeable. He is a perfect speaker.
  Very good lecturer. He emphasizesd the objectives and purpose of the training/seminar.
  Very useful guide for Managers.
  The speaker is a powerful presenter himself.
  Importance of presentations, the importance of having to introduce speaker (especially if it’s a formal activity)
  Practicum on Oral Presentation
  The course of the training on how to present/give report on a powerful presentation
         
         
 

WEAKNESSES

  Not all participants attended.
  Too short.
  The presentation requirement was communicated quite late.
  Provides anxiety to participants as they have to prepare presentations as well and be evaluated.

 

IV. LEARNING FROM THE TRAINING    

   
 

LEARNING INPUTS FROM THE PARTICIPANTS

  Practicum, tips, checklists.
  Understanding the powerful presentation with deeper perspective. Learned the rules in powerpoint presentation. Learned to be more prepared.
  Tips, steps and experience.
  Learned the welcome address, objectives in presentation and emphasis on conclusions
  Guidelines in welcome remarks, opening remarks and closing remarks.
  This training is very useful to present my report to my superiors. Very educating on my part to improve more on my report.
  Difference between reporting and presentation. How to make powerful presentation and the two general requirements to have powerful presentation.
         
V. APPLICATION OF INPUTS LEARNED IN THE TRAINING  

       

  Apply to my unit. Share my learning to staff.
  I will impart to my staff the knowledge that I have learned in this seminar.
  I can use this in my presentations.
  As the head of the department, the skill learned is required from me and I can use the learning to more effectively communicate with collegues and staff.
  In presenting to SMT and other formal events.
  Plan to apply everytime I have presentations and share to my staff.
  What I have learned is very good output to share it to my co-officer and staff.
  I could use this on our division meeting when giving reports about my unit.
